Privacy Policy

ParentDeck is operated by Founders Catalyst Advisors, LLC, doing business as ParentDeck (“ParentDeck,” “we,” or “us”). This policy explains how we handle information collected through our coming-soon website, beta signup list, and related communications.
This policy does not cover the future ParentDeck application or the school information it may process. We will provide information about those practices before asking you to connect an inbox or provide school communications.
Information we collect
When you join our list, we collect your email address. If you contact us, we also collect the information you choose to include in your message. We may keep records of your signup, the notice shown when you joined, and your communication preferences.
Our website and service providers may also receive technical information when you visit or submit the form, such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, and request times. This information helps deliver the website, process submissions, and protect against spam and misuse.
The beta signup form does not ask for children’s names, school records, inbox access, or payment information. Please do not send sensitive student information through the signup form or general contact email.
How we use information
We use your information to:
- Manage the beta signup list and send invitations.
- Send ParentDeck product updates and occasional marketing emails, consistent with the notice you received when you signed up and your choices.
- Respond to questions and requests.
- Operate and protect the website and prevent misuse.
- Maintain communication preferences and comply with legal obligations.
Joining the list does not authorize marketing for unrelated businesses. If you signed up under an earlier notice limiting emails to beta updates, we will honor that limitation unless you agree to receive more.
When information is disclosed
We do not sell or rent your email address or give it to other businesses for their own marketing.
We use service providers to host and protect the website, deliver fonts, process signup forms, manage our contact list, and send or receive email. These providers may receive information needed to perform those services. Our current website and signup services include Vercel, Fontshare, and Formspree; we also use Google Workspace for business email. If we add a CRM or campaign-email service, we will review its data practices and update this policy as appropriate before using it.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect people, our services, or our legal rights.
Cookies and tracking on the coming-soon site
As of this policy’s effective date, we have not added advertising pixels or cross-site targeted-advertising tools to the ParentDeck coming-soon page. This describes the current page, not the future ParentDeck application. Service providers may receive technical information or use essential technologies to deliver their services and prevent abuse.
The site does not change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals. This statement does not limit any privacy rights you may have under applicable law.
Your choices
To leave the signup list or stop receiving updates, email hello@parentdeck.ai. We handle these requests manually and will remove you from the active mailing list. We may retain a limited record of your opt-out to avoid adding you back.
You can also contact hello@parentdeck.ai to correct your email address or request access to or deletion of the information you provided. Leaving the mailing list is not the same as requesting deletion of all your information.
For access, correction, or deletion requests, we may ask for information needed to verify that the request concerns your own information. We will respond as required by applicable law and explain any information we need to retain. You do not need to provide additional personal information to opt out of emails.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including managing the list, sending the communications you requested, and meeting legal obligations. We review information periodically and delete information we no longer need, subject to limited legal, security, backup, and opt-out recordkeeping needs.
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information and limit access to people and providers who need it. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children and location
This website and signup list are intended for adults, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact hello@parentdeck.ai so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
ParentDeck is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
Changes and contact
We will post updates to this policy on this page and revise the effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required before applying the change. Posting a new policy does not automatically expand the permission you previously gave us.
