The email I missed
My daughter’s homecoming ticket sales closed on a Friday night. We found out Saturday morning, the day of the dance.
The deadline wasn’t hidden. It was in a school newsletter, sitting in my inbox with everything else that came that week. The school sent it. I got it. It never made it to the top of the pile.
That is the kind of miss ParentDeck is built to stop.
Why the school apps don’t fix it
Every school, district, and team picks its own tool. District news comes through ParentSquare. Grades and attendance live in Infinite Campus. Sports paperwork comes from FinalForms, team updates from sportsYou, and lunch balances from PaySchools.
Each one does its job well. None of them can see the others. None of them knows that three kids in three schools belong to the same family. So the sorting lands on a parent, usually late at night, scrolling.
What ParentDeck does
You set up forwarding once in Gmail, iCloud, or Outlook.com. ParentDeck suggests which senders to include, and nothing changes in the school apps. From then on, school, team, and activity email goes to your family’s private ParentDeck address.
ParentDeck sorts each item to the right kid, or to the whole family when it’s for everyone. Open it and you see what needs action, what’s today, and what’s coming. Events show on ParentDeck’s calendar next to your school district’s calendar, and you can add a team or activity calendar link too. If you want it, a short email arrives at 6 AM with the day ahead.
When something lands under the wrong kid, you fix it and tell ParentDeck to always sort that sender to that kid. Tell it once, it remembers.
